Tuition and Payment
What the tuition includes
The Training consists of 3 academic years - Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Each academic year has two 6-day modules, which means a total of 12 days of teaching, and 36 days throughout the entire Training.
SE Hungary's goal is to make Somatic Experiencing® accessible in Hungary, this is our mission, and to achieve this, affordable pricing has received special attention in the training structure. The biggest part of the Training Assistant Team works on a volunteer basis, and for the sake of sustainable training, our Trainers work at a price adjusted to Hungary.
The tuition is payable annually and includes the following each year:

Two 6-day modules with a SEI (Somatic Experiencing® International) recognized trainer (SEI Faculty Member)

A large team of Assistants to support your learning - one Assistant for every 3-4 students.

Payment options
The fee for the first 2 modules of the Budapest Somatic Experiencing® Professional Training starting in January 2025 is:

1,800 EUR + 27% VAT or 736,000 HUF + 27% VAT in case of lump sum payment

2,000 EUR + 27% VAT or 820,000 HUF + 27% VAT if choosing instalment payment
Instalment payment schedule:
You can pay the Training fee in monthly instalments of 400 EUR + 27% VAT (or 164,000 HUF + 27% VAT) starting from the acceptance of your application, so that at least 2 instalments are paid before the start of the 1st module, and the last instalment is paid before the start of the 2nd module.
In addition to filling in the application form, you can secure your place on the course by paying the full tuition fee if you choose the lump sum payment option, or by paying the first instalment AND the signed payment agreement if you choose the instalment option.
We hope that the tuition for the next 4 modules will also be as above, however, due to the high inflation experienced in recent years, the tuition fee may change starting from the 3rd module.
Cancellation and change conditions
Both for lump sum and instalment payments, 400 EUR (or 164,000 HUF for payments in forints) is considered a deposit for the Training. In case of cancellation, we cannot refund the paid deposit.
If Somatic Events Ltd. has to cancel the module due to a sudden difficulty – such as the trainer’s illness – the organizer will refund all amounts paid for that module. Somatic Events Ltd. is not obliged to pay any other incidental costs.
Somatic Events Ltd. reserves the right to cancel the Training if there are not enough applicants, in which case the paid training fees will be refunded.
